Branson!

We made the trip down to Branson for the annual Berry Family Reunion. We were not able to go last year because Molly was just a few weeks old, but we have been to it several times before. The Berry family is Luke's Grandma's on his Mom's side and they are spread throughout Missouri, Florida, Mississippi, etc. so it's pretty much the only time of the year everyone is together. This picture is of everyone from Luke's Grandma's family that was there (The Miller Family):

We always enjoy the reunion, not only do we see lots of family, but there is always stuff to do in Branson. Molly especially enjoyed the pool and swimming with the family:

Molly is getting better at her swimming--she just goes the entire time so it's really tiring to be the one "swimming" with her. She doesn't really just hang out--she kicks constantly and wants to really go! We look forward to our next trip to Branson and the next reunion!

Dad's Visit

My Dad came to visit over Molly's birthday weekend, so he got to be at her party and spend a few extra days hanging out with us. Unfortunately, Molly got really sick after her birthday and we spent much of his time here at the Dr.'s office. I don't think he minded too much though because they still got some good bonding time in...

...and Luke took him fishing in our pond and they scored some pretty nice bass and catfish.

Swimming Lessons

Molly & I took a "Mommy & Me" swim class the last couple weeks and had SO much fun. It was twice a week for three weeks and we are already missing it now that class is over. Molly is quite the little fish and is not afraid of the water in the slightest. This fearlessness sort of worries me. She learned to kick her legs and swim with her arms, jump into the pool (from sitting on the edge), go underwater, float on her back & hang on to the edge of the pool.

Molly really enjoys the water and I'm sure we will have to take swimming lessons again next year!

Molly's Very First Birthday!!

So, I'm just going to state the obvious and admit that I'm WAY behind on the blogging. Sorry! The last month has just gone by so fast--lots of parties, visitors, a computer virus, a baby virus, vacation, storm, power outage, etc. Anyhow...I decided to start off with a post about Molly's first birthday party and how much fun it was!

On Memorial Day we celebrated Molly's birthday (one day early) with a fish fry and "fish" themed birthday. Lots of family members and friends were able to come and share the day with us--my Dad was even able to come all the way from Montana--yay!

Here are some pictures to sum up the day:

The BIRD

Now you can witness what we have been living with. This robin will not leave us alone--even Kelly's efforts do not deter it.

Catch Up

Sorry for the lapse in blog posts. First of all, either my computer or the internet (or both) is really slow lately and I just don't have the patience to upload anything. I have several videos that I have been wanting to post, but for some reason, I just can't get them to upload. Also, the weather has been so nice lately I just don't have time to stay inside and mess around on the computer!

So anyways, here is a quick rundown of whats been going on:

Molly turned 11 months old and just gets cuter and more fun all the time. She now weighs 21 lbs and is 28 inches tall. With less than a month to go, it is so hard to believe she will be 1 year old!

We continue to be harassed by this psychotic robin that flies into the window over and over and over again. Surprisingly enough, we have actually gotten used to it's annoyances now and even Molly can sleep through the constant crashes at the window.

We have a new batch of yellow kittens that are just too cute! Molly got to check them out the other day and she really likes them--although she is a little rough...

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day and even got surprised with flowers and a 6-pack of Blue Moon. Nothing says love like that!
Most recently, Molly had her first haircut. I loved her long crazy hair and didn't really want to get it cut, but she was just getting really hot and sweaty with all that hair. Plus, she's big enough to "un-fix" it all the time and then it was always in her face. She sat very still for the entire haircut and was a little freaked out, but did very well. Before:

Well, I think that about covers it!
